Christmas offerings are sorted with workmanship: we’ve dedicated attention and cure to the couplings, in order to try to tie together the tastes that better taste together.
Beside the cakes, you will found our classics products, from the quality cold cuts to the typical Umbrian pasta (ciriole, tagliatelline with mushrooms, strangozzi with truffle), from one delicious porcini mushrooms to the class wines (Sagrantino di Montefalco, Grechetto dei Colli Martani, Colli Amerini Rosso Superiore and the excellent Arquata Rossso di Montefalco), in order then to finish with the DOP olive oil, one of the tips of diamond of the fine gastronomy that we daily offer to our customers.
These fantastic offerings will be packed into practical and sturdy Christmas boxes that will make the opening even more pleasant: the gift will be perfect!
And it does not end here: for artists of the words, there will be the possibility to enclose some personal thoughts to the gift, through an elegant greeting card.
The products on which Umbria of the Sapori focuses its attention during the Christmas period are essentially cakes, as the traditional Pandoro or Panettone, classic or with some variations that will seduce your palate, like Panettone with chocolate stuffing or limoncello flavored or, again, chocolate and fig flavored.
Every Pandoro and every Panettone is realized by Umbrian master artisans. The final results are two masterpieces: the Pandoro, of soft and light consistency and the Panettone, whose inner silky and yellow webbing will contrast with a dark, delicate and crispy crust.
The typical Christmas cake for excellence is the Pampepato. The Pampepato is a unique product of its kind, with a typical flavor, very different from that of similar sweeties or cakes. The Pampepato recipe was born during the XVI century, when wise oriental hands (bringing with them spices and aromas of the east) met with the nature of the Umbrian gastronomy.
Odorous and spicy, the Pampepato has its peculiarity also in its preparation: it is made with a clever mixture of many various ingredients, among which walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pine nuts, currants, cedar and orange candies, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, cocoa and dark chocolate.
Christmas offer also includes the sparkling wine Cardeto Demi-Sec, ideal for accompanying the cakes served at the end of the meal.
The sparkling wine was born in the old vineyards near Orvieto, from grapes of Trebbiano, Verdello, Chardonnay, Ciliegiolo.
The collection of the grapes starts by the end of August end, during the preparation process, the wine is left in the bottles to age for 90 days.
The result is a sparkling wine with a fine scent, characterized by a rich note of fruit (pear and honey) and by an elegant taste, worthy to be tasted in champagne glasses, possibly at 10-12°c.
